With 11 years of experience primarily in the area of Family Law, including over 1000 cases, our attorney Teresa Keene has helped her clients through divorce, child custody, child support, parentage, power of attorney, third party custody and protection cases. Teresa Keene is highly qualified to take you through the difficult process of family change with care, sympathy and understanding.
TENANT EVICTIONS. We also have extensive experience in representing landlords in unlawful detainer actions and miscellaneous landlord defenses.
WILL PACKETS. Our will packets are complete and affordable. For $850 we provide your Last Will and Testament, General Durable Power of Attorney, Health Care Power of Attorney, and Health Care Directive.

Meet Our Staff
OUR ATTORNEY, TERESA KEENE, has been in private law practice for 11 years, and Keene Law has been in continuous service as Canyon Law Office, first in Colfax, Washington and then in Sedro Woolley, Washington, since August 1, 2009. She renamed her practice Keene Law in 2019.
Keene Law specializes in family law, landlord evictions and estate planning. Prior to opening her law practice, Teresa Keene was a Public Defense Attorney with the Spokane County Public Defender’s Office and a Deputy Prosecutor with the Whitman County Prosecutor’s Office. She was also City Prosecutor for Sedro Woolley.
Teresa graduated from Gonzaga Law School in 2007. Prior to law school, she graduated Magna Cum Laude, B.A. from Eastern Washington University.
In an “earlier life,” Teresa was a WSU Master Gardener and wrote a gardening column and a gardening book. She also was a freelance writer of short fiction and editor of a science fiction magazine, “Keen Sci-Fi.”
Teresa is married, with two adult sons, and lives in Spokane with her husband, three dogs and a cat.
OUR PARALEGAL, CAROLANN EICHHOLZ, is an experienced and highly skilled paralegal who has lived in Spokane since 2010. She graduated from Lewis & Clark State College in 2007 with a BAS degree in paralegal studies and two AAS degrees in paralegal studies and Legal Assistant.
